Invitation Cards

Invitation cards are printed letters used to ask recipients to attend a marriage, birthday, business parties, anniversary, or any other event.Every invitation marks a specific occasion, hence invitations are very important and usually recipients will keep them well past the event as a souvenir. Here are a few tips you can use to create a proper invitation card:

Information: The basic event details that need to be included on the card are: the venue Name, the reason for the celebration, the host Name, Location, Date. It should not be over loaded. Do not add unnecessary descriptions about anything which is not relevant to the invitation.

Theme match: Whether you create your own artwork, or select a template from a provider, you should try and match the design with the nature of the event. A wedding invitation card design cannot be used as a save the date invitation card, although the two events are related to each other.

RSVP: Have you ever gone to an event expecting a crowd only to find a handful of guests? To avoid such a situation at your party, make use of R.S.V.P. The term stands for "Repondez s'il vous plait", or "Please Respond". These cards allow you to keep an advance count of how many guests plan to attend the party and how many will skip. All the invited guests are required to reply.

Printing: This is one of the most important characteristics of all. Printing puts your concept onto a sheet of paper. The colors, the font, the design, the paper quality and the finishing of the card are all equaly important.

Guests: There are some events where the guests belong to a specific age group. The invitation should be made taken into consideration their age group liking and disliking. Although all birthdays parties celebrate the same event, an invitation card for a kids' birthday party should be different from that of an adult.
